Provide planning, designing, ordering, and activating new production circuits and services.
Work with various Internal Support groups to turn up new circuits/services and resolve network infrastructure issues.
Configure and implement test network environments using various test equipment in a lab environment.
Develop and document network configurations and provide testing support to the test team prior to and during the customer visit. Experience: Experience in test and evaluation of LAN/WAN network environments; Hands-on experience in installing, testing, configuring, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN networks. Experience must include both physical and logical network environments; Cisco/Juniper router and switch configuration and troubleshooting skills; Hands-on experience in using various network test equipment for traffic generation, measurement, and analysis; Experience and knowledge of Ethernet, PPP, Frame Relay, and ATM protocols;Experience and knowledge of IP, TCP/UDP, and SNMP protocols.
Knowledge of all routing protocols including RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, and EBGP;Demonstrated ability to communicate both orally and in writing;Demonstrated experience developing and maintaining documentation; Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team member;Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline;CCNA with 3-5 years experience or CCNP with 2-3 years experience; Design and implementation
