SQL DBA Team Lead in Dallas, TX

Industry leader in Plano, TX is looking to add a SQL Server DBA - Team Lead to their growing staff of professionals. The individual selected will possess a solid background in full-life cycle SQL Server 2005/2000 Administration and possess previous experience leading a team of DBA's. The Team Lead must be able to provide basic guidance and mentoring to DBA's and development staff on best practices for consuming SQL Server and database related resources.

Technical responsibilities will include:
Administration, policy and procedures, documents, backup and recovery, performance tuning, server hardware & software, RAID, Architecture, Data Management, Database Schema, Database Design, Storage, Security, Installation and Configuration, Monitor and Alerts, Performance Analysis, Database Integrity, QA Testing, and Change Control

Technical environment includes:
SQL Server 2005/2000, SQL Reporting Services, DTS, T-SQL, Query Analyzer, Profiler, Enterprise Manager, Client & Server Network Utilities, Import and Export Data, bcp.exe, dtsrun.exe, textcopy.exe and osql.exe, sysprocesses, syslockinfo, syscacheobjects, master, msdb, tempdb, model, ETL, OLEDB, and clustering
