Software Development Manager in Dallas, TX
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES • Assign software developers to various projects and supervise/direct activities • Assist in projecting software and hardware requirements for future Sage growth • Lead and manage new development projects • Provide time and cost estimates on required work for specific projects • Manage bug reporting and enhancements for applications • Provide senior management progress/status of various projects • Interact with various departments regarding software development/enhancement needs • Approve time off and schedule changes for team members • Administer performance reviews and corrective action according to established company procedures • Manage interviewing, hiring, and training of new team members • Complete special projects and perform other duties as assigned <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES • Advanced knowledge of SDLC (software development lifecycle) process and procedures related to software development typically acquired through seven years of experience • Ability to manage development projects • Ability to manage and motivate team of software developers and team leads • Proactive approach to problem resolution • Detail oriented and a team player • Ability to interact effectively with all departments and employee levels • Ability to maintain confidentiality and resolve employee relations issues • Willingness and ability to immediately adapt to changes in policies and procedures • Must be able to meet departmental attendance requirements To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
