SQL Database Administrator in Dallas, TX

Business law firm needs an experienced SQL database administrator to join their dynamic IT team! The SQL DBA position involves administration of all electronic databases and related issues, managing and controlling data resources to ensure data integrity and security, recovery of corrupted data, the elimination of data redundancy, and improvement of database performance. The SQL DBA role also involves Candidates meeting the qualifications for this SQL DBA role should contact . Experience: Requirements for this position include 2+ years experience in database administration roles and knowledge of database management tools, techniques and procedures including code development, customization, macro and batch processes, data warehousing, thin/fat client systems, Internet/web-based database interface, data mapping/modeling, and able to analyze and specify data usage within an application area. Advanced understanding of programming using Microsoft Access, SQL Server, Visual Basic and Active Server Pages (ASP) and experience with various report writing tools including Crystal Reports as used in client/server, Windows-based environment is required.
