DB2 DBA Data Modeler

. Current Team Size is 3 DBA's with 20 plus years of experience and 1 Intern.

Job Description
. developing, documenting, and implementing data models for new tables and enhancing existing tables
. performance tuning the data base; and serving as technical lead in implementing the client's enterprise data warehouse.
. assisting with database administration
. Assist with configuration and documentation of the client's data warehouse
. Develop, document, implement and maintain data models to revise existing tables and create new tables
. Review data load processes and suggest enhancements and quality checks
. Monitor database performance and modify queries, packages, and stored procedures as required.
. Work with end users and other programmers to identify and translate business reporting requirements
Requirements and Qualifications:
. 5 or more years data base modeling experience using DB2 9/DW2 or higher
. Experience in physical and logical database design / modelingusing tools such as ERWin
. Knowledge of ETL tools helpful.
. Expertise in database performance monitoring and tuning tools
. Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, excellent communication and analysis skills
