Senior Developer, ABC Radio Networks

Responsibilities include application support and development. Typical responsibilities can include: full life cycle development; provide development support for all components of specific applications; provide primary support on application related issues; develop/maintain system documentation; provide application related support to external users; analysis of existing code and business requirements. The application developer's responsibilities will include business requirement gathering, systems design, some database design, custom application development, report writing, testing and deployment



Required Qualifications

EDUCATION:

Position requires a BS in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent.



TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Must have experience working on projects from conceptual design to implementation. Six plus years experience designing and coding software solutions with relevant technologies, specifically Visual Basic, C## and SQL Server. Minimum two years proven experience in C##.NET and ASP.NET programming. Minimum five years proven experience in Visual Basic programming. Strong working knowledge of MS SQL Server (database design and stored procedures) ASP, HTML, Javascript, VB Script, XML, Crystal Reports. Knowledgeable in the configuration of Internet Information Server (IIS).



PROJECT MANAGEMENT SKILLS:

MS Project knowledge a must.

Experience in object oriented analysis and design, UML, Visio and Source Safe.



NON-TECHNICAL SKILLS:

Strong business and technical writing skills as well as oral communication skills to present abstract and complex problems and solutions in terms that are understandable by the users. Ability to multi-task in a dynamic working environment. Must be able to work independently with limited amount of supervision. Must be able to adapt to changing priorities and quickly learn new software applications.
