Applications Architect in DALLAS, TX

Our client is seeking an Application Integration Specialist (AIS) to plan, coordinate, and supervise all activities related to the integration of software programs and applications into the organization&#146;s information systems. Essential duties and responsibilities include planning, designing, and testing the integration of new applications into existing systems and software throughout the enterprise, ensuring that integration projects meet business requirements and goals; fulfilling end-user requirements while identify and resolving systems issues. Further, AIS will manage integration projects and corresponding strategies between business units and associated teams, while collaborate with analysts, designers, and system owners in the testing of new-integrated software programs and applications. The AIS will research and make recommendations on integration products and services in support of procurement efforts, define and document the intended scope, requirements, architecture, and protocols, and manage the application integration and development process. Also will serves as backup for other team members in their operational responsibilities.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: The Application Integration Specialist must have Bachelor&#146;s degree and a minimum of 8+ years overall IT and analytical experience, with working knowledge of principles, practices, and procedures of systems analysis. AIS must have demonstrated expertise in Microsoft SQL 2000, Access, Crystal Reports, CRM, MS Office, DTS, and Web Services, posses advanced knowledge of computer operations and programming languages, in particular advanced Crystal Reports, advanced SQL, advanced Customer Relationship Manager (CRM), with four years direct experience in enterprise-level application integration. AIS must have previous experience as the Application Integration Architect or Development Manager for an ERP System Implementation; previous experience defining and implementing interface architectures including, error handling procedures, data transformation rules, translation tables, scheduling, etc.; previous experience defining and designing specifications for interfaces, data conversions, reports, etc. Must be a strong project manager with superior project organization skills having the ability to develop and maintain project tracking tools and scorecards, having outstanding writing, documentation skills, excellent oral and interpersonal communication skills, interact with all levels of employees, work independently and contribute positively in a team environment, managing multiple tasks simultaneously. AIS must have the ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. Further, must have knowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws.
