Outstanding opportunity for a PHP Architect/Project Manager professional to start making an impact immediately- contract position that could convert to a full-time opportunity! Daily duties will include architecting and defining the presentation layer framework to solve complex designs; Creation of all coded Presentation Layer deliverables; Establish presentation layer requirements; writing detailed level technical and functional specifications documentation. This opportunity may require candidates to rapidly produce interim deliverables (such as style guide components, technical specifications, browser and market analysis, prototypes, proofs of concept, etc.) in addition to the final live site or application. Experience: Our client is seeking candidates with At least 4+ years experience using and architecting PHP solutions. ASP, ASP.Net, JSP or other frameworks used to develop dynamic web pages is also useful. The ability
to take initiative to research and learn emerging technologies. Potential candidate must possess expertise developing and testing across multiple browsers and platforms; experience with XML: XSLT, DTD or Schema modeling, DOM/XPath/SAX parsing; and with Rich Internet Applications, Macromedia Flash and AJAX, particularly technical and coding aspects such as Object Oriented Action Script 2, Flash Remoting, Data Binding, Components, etc. required. Flex, Lazlo or Ruby on Rails experience a plus. Experience with portal server products, content management systems (CMS) and version control systems, user Interface Design, Information Architecture, graphic design is highly desired. Candidates should also have a good understanding of design principles and ability to adhere to complex design specifications during implementation.
