DB2 Support/Systems Administrator
This position supports DB2 as a product on the mainframe (installs, updates, maintains). This position applies maintenance, tunes the product's components to optimize the customers database environment, etc. This candidate should know a lot about the DB2 utilities, the customer's application(s) that use the database(s), trouble-shooting problems with the customer DB2 environment, etc. This is NOT an applications programmer role. We need someone who has experience "supporting" the product, not just using it. This is a DB2 MAINFRAME SUPPORT position, not a DB2 DBA or application programmer position.
