Financial Services company is looking for a Software Support Specialist/ Report Writer.
Key Skills/Requirements:
• Minimum 2-4 years report writing experience with Crystal Reports and/or Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services.
• Minimum 1-3 years computer support experience.
• Strong database knowledge and SQL query experience (SQL Server 2000/2005).
• Basic programming knowledge/experience (Visual Basic, C#, or comparable).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• General IT knowledge and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent communication and customer interaction skills.
• Pivotal CRM experience is beneficial
Job Description:
Troubleshoot and develop technical solutions related to software errors and enhancement requests for custom applications. Use discretion to ensure that issues are resolved in a timely fashion. Escalate urgent problems requiring more in-depth knowledge to appropriate internal resources. Coordinate with Software Development and IT to resolve issues.
Create and modify reports to meet users’ needs, including production reports, ad hoc reports, and data extracts. Use various tools to meet reporting and data collection needs, including Crystal Reports, Microsoft SQL Server Reporting Services, SQL Server Query Analyzer, and Microsoft Excel.
