Financial start up company located in the Crescent is looking to expand their IT staff to include a bright developer with potential to learn their work flow and development process from the ground floor. The web developer should have a strong Java background, experience with struts framework and an entrepreneurial mind set. The web developer should be able to exercise creativity in an environment without significant structure. The job role includes wearing multiple hats in a team-oriented environment. Experience: Requirements include the ability to create new web pages and update the search engine to support IE 7.0. The web developer will be required to learn the database work flow and organize it into Java beans and other objects and eventually pass it to the JSP pages. Strong understanding of the struts framework as well as how to use filters, forms and actions is required. Proficiency with HTML, JSP, Javascript, CSS, Java, J2EE systems, and Tomcat Servlet required. Experience with Mysql and Hibernate is preferred. Financial industry experience preferred. Bachelor's degree preferred.
