This position performs testing on existing and/or new software. Experience with DB2 is required. While project code is primarily mainframe based, client server applications are often impacted. Tasks include: execute jobs which emulate production processing, back up files, modify JCL and control cards to include the code to be tested, create or modify test data, modify Comparex jobs and CA-7, create and execute test scripts, resolve problems, work with customers and application developers. May be required to work second or third shift, depending on project schedules.
Experience: Testing professional with five or more years of experience in a dedicated testing organization.
DB2 testing experience is critical.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Degree is a PLUS
