Sr. Solutions Architect in Dallas, TX

Responsible for design and develop solutions for new and current customers to meet their requirements maximize performance and cost effectiveness. Develop tools, collateral and training material to facilitate the sales process. Provide technical support during all phases of the sales process. Provide tactical and strategic solutions to contribute to the future directions of Managed Services. Responsible for design and implementing new technology to support corporate and client requirements and goals.
Presents information to the management team, which may result in the purchase and installation of hardware, software and communication equipment. Recommends and implements monitoring tools, network security and create written procedures and guidelines.

Essential Functions:
?? PreSales, Sales and Bid Support
o Give presentations/briefings on AO capabilities
o Answer customer questions
o Analyze customer requirements and define solutions
o Provide assistance to Sales and Marketing in the areas of proposals and pricing
?? Maintain product service catalogs
o Understand current capabilities
o Document service descriptions
o Maintain leading edge technology and market changes
o Update service descriptions to maintain market competitiveness
?? Lead due diligence activities at customer sites when required
?? Train BDM's in our service capabilities
?? Perform external consulting when required Train BDM's in our service capabilities
?? Provide contract and SLA support
?? Guide internal technical teams implementing new solutions
?? Provide vendor management where required
?? Provide contract and SLA support
?? Provide vendor management where required
?? Evaluates and provides technical recommendations on new technology, procedures and policies,
including systems, encryption and data transport
?? Responsible for overseeing vendor mgmt (RFI/RFP), project management and managing timelines
?? Complete installations and projects by scheduled date
?? Follow-up with client after installation to assure hardware is working properly
?? Maintain up-to-date network documentation
?? Perform ongoing monitoring and analysis of existing network performance
?? Provide technical leadership to other team members
?? Must be able to work with both management and engineering staff and must be able to understand
and communicate complex technical issues involving a wide range of technologies.
?? Able to act independently and initiation solutions in a timely manner

Other Duties and Responsibilities:
?? Systems, applications support and/or maintenance background
?? Broad technical knowledge in I/T infrastructure
?? Strong Communication Skills (Presentations, Writing, Verbal)
?? Good understanding of financial models (P&L, ROI, etc.)
?? Good Negotiation skills with contract experience
?? Prior sales support a plus
?? Able to function with a minimum of guidance
?? This individual needs a strong business sense and be able to understand the tradeoffs and differences between the business need and the elegance of the technical solution.
?? Maintains a test environment that simulates the production environment
?? Attend scheduled meetings
?? Performs other duties as required to meet departmental or organizational objectives.
?? Oversight of build out of and migration to new data center
?? Team leader of 5 person technical team

Experience: Preferred:
?? Two years experience in a HealthCare environment
?? Certification in CISCO products, i.e. CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, etc
?? Certification in MCSE
?? Four Year Technical Degree
?? Data center migration experience

Skills & Requirements:
?? Verbal and written communication skills for a diverse customer base including, executives, technical and administrative staff
?? Excellent analytical skills to discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable
improvement of processes
?? Leadership skills such as coaching, and conflict resolutions to aide in the development of personnel
?? Verbal and written communication skills for a diverse customer base including customers, technical
staff and management
?? Working knowledge of
o Data network components (routers, switches, hubs)
o Network design concepts
o Network monitoring and maintenance tools
o IP, IPX, voice and LAN/WAN services
o Cisco router configuration process
o Routing protocols such as RIP, EIGRP and OSPF
o Cabling infrastructure
?? Analytical skills to discuss problems, analyze solutions/options, evaluate and enable improvement of processes
?? Must be willing to travel, up to 50% + maybe required.
?? Superior organization and planning skills to prioritize work flow and respond to conflicting deadlines
?? Excellent skills of planning, organizing, customer service, record keeping and controlling cost.
?? Professional attire, attitude and demeanor and be able to work well with others (team player).
