This position requires 8+ years working experience developing web applications
Duties:
May perform one or more of the following:
Analyzes business processes and performs needs assessments in an effort to align information technology solutions with business initiatives.
Interprets business needs and translates them into system requirements.
Writes business specifications and forwards to technical staff for system development.
Interprets systems specifications to develop, maintain and support automated business processes.
Provides technical expertise in identifying, evaluating and developing systems and procedures that are cost effective and meet user requirements.
Configures system settings and options, plans and executes acceptance testing, and creates specifications for systems to meet business requirements.
Develops and manage websites and the underlying applications
Extracts business rules from existing legacy applications
Has basic understanding of turning business processes into workflows
Leads software development projects through all phases of a standard software development life cycle
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
5 to 8 years development and programming experience in some or all of the following:
.NET 2.0 and higher, HTML, ASP, ASP.NET, WPF, WCF, C#, Visual Basic 6, Web Services, SQL,T-SQL, Stored Procedures, JavaScript, VBScript, DHTML, CSS, XML, and SQL Server 2000/2005
Education and Typical Years of Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
8+ years software development/integration experience
Special Requirements:
Good oral and written communication (including documentation skills) and client facing skills needed
Must be able to provide extra effort when required by projects
Must be able to create business requirements, technical designs and test scripts
Must be a self-starter and work well on team projects
Must have excellent debugging skills
