One of the leading telecom companies in the Dallas, TX area has an immediate need for a full time Operations Manager.
The candidate will ensure timely service delivery and ongoing availability in rapid time-to-revenue approach and complete operations management of environment & applications - monitor alerts & key metrics, ensure availability & capacity, manage and communicate planned & unplanned outages, single point of contact & escalation. He/she will ensure internal and external suppliers deliver the new service on time and on budget and complete planning with key partners within the teams. Finally, the candidate will conduct assessments of upcoming services to determine technical & financial impacts to Hosting platform as well as manage budget and expenses related to Hosting environment supporting new services.
Required:
. Operations management experience
. Program/Project management
. Team leadership skills
. Budget management
. Managing multiple priorities
. Ability to interface with customers
. Excellent communication skills
. Recent experience within design & support of multi-tenet hosting
. BS in Engineering or equivalent
. Systems administration: networking, FW, Server desired
