HELP DESK ANALYST III (new position due to growth)

DALLAS, TX

This fast growing public company which is an industry leader in the acquisition, development and management of technology and data center real estate is looking for a progressive Senior Help Desk Analyst/Junior Network Support Specialist.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service, outstanding troubleshooting skills, and posses excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to interact with staff at all levels within the organization. This role requires experience and proficiency in the installation, configuration and support of laptop and desktop computers, PC operating systems, common office productivity software applications, computer peripherals, network print devices, and handheld e-mail/PDA devices. including Cisco networks, TCP/IP and VPN technologies. The Senior Help Desk Analyst is responsible for providing local and remote technical support via phone, e-mail and web-based IT support tools, configuring and supporting end-user computing devices and productivity software as well as other enterprise IT systems. Strong technical writing skills are desirable.



KEY Elements:

Bachelor Degree (prefers degree in Computer Science) with minimum three years experience performing similar duties for previous employers
Windows 2003 servers / Exchange 2003/2007 / (MOSS 2007 highly preferred)
Change management procedures required (ITIL certification desirable)
Cisco Network knowledge

Education / Certification

BS in Computer Science / MIS
Technical certification and/or training from Cisco and Microsoft is desirable (MCP, MCSE)
ITIL Certification desirable


Experience

Minimum three years experience performing similar duties for previous employers
Working with teams across different time zones a plus
With change management procedures required
Working for publicly traded companies a plus
Working in a large distributed enterprise environment preferred
Excellent written and oral communications skills are key
Must be able to communicate with all levels of the organization.
