Job Description: Sr. Java Programmer (Contract to Hire)
This individual will provide technical support and leadership to project team members. He/she must be able to understand multi-application and multi-platform environments. Responsible for designing and implementing components for complex application features.
- Works with business analysts or other personnel to identify business requirements
- Designs system architecture that will facilitate business processes through the use of technology
- Directs programmers and analysts in the development of detailed technical specification
- Will be responsible for designing, coding, [including modifying existing code & developing new code], testing, and implementing solution in an N-tier environment
- Will be responsible for ensuring quality, and updating technical documentation
- Prepare work status reports for Project Manager on time
- May act in team leader role by providing budget preparations for projects, and new hire interviews
- Other duties as assigned
