SharePoint Portal Administrator in Dallas, TX

Creative, dynamic organization is seeking an experienced SharePoint Portal Administrator to join their downtown Dallas IT team on a full time basis. The SharePoint Administrator will be responsible for: supporting
agency intranets on MOSS 2007, customize SharePoint Master Pages; Page layouts and CSS; implementing web-based projects including design, development and testing; creating connectivity between various data sources using multiple methods (ODBC, SQL DTS, etc.) and more! Experience: Requirements include 2+ years technical experience in designing, developing, and supporting Intranet applications with strong MS SharePoint Administrator experience. Experience with MS Windows Server 2000/2003, IIS 5.0/6.0, and application development, including C#, ASP, ASP.NET, ODBC, VBScript, TSQL, SQL, and Javascript technologies highly preferred. Bachelor's degree highly preferred.

Must communicate effectively with in-house users, including both technical and non-technical personnel. Must be able to interface with upper management in an effective manner. Individual must possess excellent customer-service skills.

This position supports critical functions operating 24 hours per day, 365 days per year. To assure adequate support of these functions the employee may be required to participate in an on-call program to facilitate timely return of staff to the office to meet critical needs.
