Sr. Project Manager in Dallas, TX

We are seeking a Sr. Level IT Project Manager to work on high-profile projects for a major corporation. The majority of time will be spent developing and managing work plans for a multiple customer projects, gathering customer requirements, coordinating sub-project team plans, working with cross-team test plans, coordinating testing efforts across teams, assisting with Business Change Planning / Training needs across projects, and conducting implementation planning and other deliverables. This person must be able to interact with Executive-level Customers. The team is made up of approximately 45 analysts and developers that is responsible for establishing a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture).


Experience: You must meet the following qualifications to be considered for this opportunity:
. Minimum 5 years in Information Technology
. Minimum 5 years demonstrated ability and success using problem-solving skills.
. Minimum 5 years as part of a Team implementing solutions using a Systems Development Lifecycle Methodology.
. Minimum 3 years demonstrated mastery using one or more project management tools (MS Project, EPMS, etc.)
. Minimum 3 years managing/leading IT complex, multi-project team projects, demonstrating solid Project Management capabilities
. Minimum 2 years gathering and documenting business requirements in accordance to Object Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) guidelines.
. Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability in developing / managing delivery of Use Cases.
. Minimum 2 years demonstrated ability to conduct and/or lead discussions with Business partners and Senior Technology Leadership.
. Must be able to interact and speak with a wide variety of People, from Developers, users, and Senior Leadership in IT and the Business.
. Preferably Previous Development background in the following arenas: UML Development using tools such as Visio, Rational Rose, RequisitePro, ClearCase, and ClearQuest, UNIX, and Java
