Genesis10 is seeking an Enterprise Data Programmer Analyst for a client in Dallas, Texas on a contract-to-hire basis. This position is responsible for reading/creating and/or editing utilization management data and PHI in the course of conducting day-to-day company business. This position is a primary interface with internal and external customers in discussing and sharing PHI; reviewing PHI that may be contained in reports; and notation/sharing of PHI in hardcopy format (letter, facsimiles, and/or reports).
The primary job requirement will be working with the Quality Management and Reporting Department and the Account Management Team on organizing, normalizing, analyzing, manipulating, interpreting customer and clinical data. Will be responsible for generating standardized, customized and ad-hoc reports of that data to be both internally and externally viewed by customers. Other job functions including FTP'ing of Eligibility, referral and authorization data and some Intranet development.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain the current reports and development new data reports.
- Maintain and create new data structures necessary for client reporting needs.
- Develop stored procedures and SSRS that will aid in automation and streamlining of reporting functions.
- Assist the programming staff with additional work.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- SQL Server 2005/2000 (Familiar with Stored Procedure, DTS).
- Visual Studio 2005/2008 C#.NET, VB.NET and/or ASP.NET.
- Database administration and heavy sql coding.
- Microsoft Business Intelligence (SSIS, SSRS, SSAS).
- 3-5 years programming experience.
- EDI.
- Healthcare background.
- ANSI x12.
- Data warehouse experience.
- Understanding of reporting, dashboards etc.
- Presentable and somewhat polished.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills. No heads down types.
- A positive, can do attitude.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- HIPAA Transaction and code set compliance a big plus.
- Experience with FTP software a big plus.
- BizTalk a huge plus.
- Some college/associates degree preferred.
- HTML and XML knowledge preferred.
