Cisco Certified Network Engineer - CCNAENGR_TX in Dallas, TX

Modis is currently seeking a Cisco Certified Network Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in the Dallas area.This role is expected to commence immediately and last for 24 months. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Cisco Certified Network Engineer will be responsible for the design, installation, configuration and ongoing maintenance/support of Cisco Networks. Day to day responsibilities will include providing implementation support and Tier 2-3 troubleshooting for the Layer 1-3 technologies that include LAN/WAN Networking, Layer 2 Switching, VLANS, QoS, VoIP Services, Cisco Routers, Cisco Switches and common transports (ATM, Frame Relay and MPLS).Candidates must have an active CCNA Certification or higher with a minimum of 5 years experience in a similar Network Engineering role. Strong customer oriented technical support skills are essential. Required Skills: REQUIRED SKILLS - CCNA Certification or higher with 5 years hands-on experience- Excellent experience with Cisco Switches and Cisco Routers- Strong Layer 2 switching with STP, VLAN, QoS and VoIP- Router configuration experience with BGP, OSPF and EIGRP protocols- In-depth Experience with ATM, Frame Relay, ISDN and Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) transports- Excellent Network troubleshooting, problem determination and resolution skills To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
