We offer a competitive base salary, comprehensive benefits and a laid back environment.What you will be doing!Monitor database operations.Estimate MYSQL database capacities; develop methods for monitoring database capacity and usage.Develop and support MYSQL database replicationDevelop and optimize physical design of MYSQL database systemsTune and optimize the performance of all the staging and production database instances.Establish mechanisms for data backup/restore of relational databases; provide restoration services as needed Plan and execute disaster recovery.Develop stored procedures and database triggers in support of application development.Participate in application development projects and be responsible for the database architecture and design.Develop application-specific fault-tolerant distributed database mechanismsParticipate in the creation of development, staging and production database instances, and the migration of those instances from one environment to another.What you need!Demonstrated experience with Open Source/Linux development and production environment.Demonstrated experience administering of InnoDB and MyISAM table types.Demonstrated experience with MYSQL Master/Slave configuration and replication.Demonstrated experience Fault tolerance configured systems.Demonstrated experience with multi-master clustering (HA).Demonstrated experience with MYSQL performance tuning and optimization (query optimization, index tuning, caching and buffer tuning).Experience with data profiling, metadata analysis, Datamodelling and relational schema design.Solid understanding and experience in disaster recovery, planning and implementation.Experience with backup and recovery process.Desired experience:Must have experience with cloud computing or virtualized server environment.
