It is currently looking for a Configuration Analyst Specialist to join our team in Dallas TX. Job Responsibilities: Perot Systems is seeking a Configuration Specialist to support the Xcelys application. This person must have demonstrated strong abilities in configuring claims payment systems for healthcare payers. The configuration specialist is responsible for gathering and documenting business requirements from the operations and client teams to be used to configure the Xcelys application. Responsibilities include design documentation, testing configuration, obtaining client approval and post production validation. Duties also include writing and running database queries to identify claims for adjustment, identify needed system updates, prepare data to load directly into the system, and ensuring accuracy. The configuration specialist documents policies, procedures, decisions made, and obtains client approval of system changes. The Configuration Specialist works closely with the other members of the configuration team, the client and the operations team. Other general duties include: Serving as the customer contact for application questions and evaluating proposed product functionality Excellent customer service skills and the ability to effectively communicate with department leaders are required Ability to function independently and as a team player A self starter - must be able to multi-task and handle multiple ongoing projects Candidate must demonstrate tenacity for application problem-solving and a solid work ethic Required Skills: 4+ yrs payer system configuration, with progressively increasing levels of responsibility for multiple system modules 3+ yrs provider contract configuration, membership and benefits configuration, or premium billing configuration 3+ yrs experience with interpreting documents like schedules of benefits, pricing contract arrangements, capitation agreements, premium rate structures 2+ yrs experience with a data extract tool Application troubleshooting and strong analytical skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of database table structure Advanced skills on Microsoft Word and Excel Desired Skills: 3+ yrs experience configuring DIAMOND 950 or Xcelys Experience analyzing claims for billing trends for configuration solutions Strong Excel skills, using functions and formulas PL/SQL Developer or similar experience for analyzing system data Minimum Educational Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Perot Systems is committed to Equal Employment Opportunity.
