Loan OfficerDallas, TX6 Month ContractOverview: This position is responsible for final charge-off of foreclosed or liquidated loans and to verify all loan information and the resolution of all outstanding issues that can contribute to a gain or loss prior to charge-off. Job Functions: Charge off all disposed properties timely and accurately after ensuring that all receivables and payables are satisfied. Ensure that all transactions such as foreclosures and liquidations set up on credit loss systems are accurate and are for loans with Fannie Mae or shared foreclosure loss risk. Complete manual load of loans Perform miscellaneous functions, such as: Refund of Participation receipts to servicers; Follow-up on resolution of 2nd lien; MI exception cases, etc Define and recommend efficient enhancements to processes, procedures and systems to ensure effective results consistent with our goals. Qualifications: Three years experience in servicing area with mortgage banking; and Bachelors degree in business, finance, or related field, is required. Required technical skills include: expertise in use of database packages and spreadsheets and ability to extract, manipulate and interpret data from various systems to provide reporting. Requires excellent analytical, communication (oral and written) and presentation skills. Must demonstrate bottom line orientation. Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, ability to work under time constraints, good interpersonal skills, and high degree of initiative. Frequent problem solving is required. Problems are varied in nature and above average in difficult. A high degree of analysis, initiative, creativity, and independent thinking are required.
