Cisco IP Telephony/AVVID Engineer - AVVID_TX in Dallas, TX

DESCRIPTION Modis is currently seeking qualified a Cisco IP Telephony/AVVID Engineer for an exciting contract to hire opportunity with our client in the Dallas metro area. This position is expected to start within the next 2-3 weeks and last for an initial duration of 9 months. There is a 100% chance of full time conversion. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The Cisco IP Telephony/AVVID Engineer will be providing technical support and subject matter expertise for a large-scale AVVID Environment. Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of IT experience and at least 5 years of consistent, recent experience with Cisco AVVID and IPT products including CallManager, Unity, VoIP and QoS. This is a contract to hire opportunity - candidates must be eligible for full time conversion in 6-9 months without the need for sponsorship. REQUIRED SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS - Required 4 year college degree in an IT related field - Minimum of 10 years of IT experience and at least 5 years of consistent, recent experience with Cisco AVVID and IPT products - Active CCNP, CIPT and/or CCIE Voice Certifications - Expertise with Cisco CallManager, Unity, VoIP and QoS - Strong experience with Cisco configuration tools ADDITIONAL INFORMATION/HOW TO APPLY Local candidates are preferred.
