Interactive Web Designer - D-375290-TX in Dallas, TX

We have a position for a Interactive WEB Graphics Designer in Dallas, TX with a top Fortune 500 client and world technology leader. In this role you will be an integral part of an international Web team We are looking for a talented, highly creative, enthusiastic individual who has a desire to contribute to TI’s success in communicating and motivating interest in TI’s technology supporting the classroom of the future and the tools that will be used in it. The interactive/web designer will have proven design skills and prior experience relating to, and be asked to work on the graphics, user-interface, cd, Web and multimedia projects. We are looking for an individual with at least a BFA (or equivalent) in Graphic Design with a focus on multimedia and the Web. They must have 3-5 years of professional design experience in the areas of multimedia, Web design and graphics along with a well-rounded, exceptional design skill set. Candidates should be self-motivated and organized with the ability to be a team player in a cross-functional team environment. Candidates should have strong visual communication skills, advanced multi-media/web design skills, be cross-platform savvy, and possess a strong desire to constantly learn new media. As an Interactive Designer, you will lead the design effort on a variety of projects in a highly collaborative, fast-paced environment. You will work closely with the creative director, product and marketing managers, Web developers and user experience researchers to develop new product offerings and improve existing ones. Creating concepts, designs, storyboards, wire frames, site navigation and Flash interactive design projects. Applying user-centered design process to create high quality user experiences Working with visual designers to improve and refine product visual design and consistency Working with Web developers and engineers to deliver the final product Successfully communicating conceptual ideas and design rationale Working hours: 8 am to 5 pm BCS provides an open door policy; please feel free to follow up by email or phone to (see below) (this is a permanent position with a leading healthcare organization, please no third party or H1 visa holders; at this time, the client is not sponsoring H1B Visa s). Required Skills: Candidate must meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Arts, Human Factors, HCI, cognitive science or related field At least 3 years experience as a key member of user experience team participating in the complete product development lifecycle of several successfully launched Web and/or software applications At least 3 years experience leading large design efforts and coordinating project teams Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Mastery of user-centered design process and expert interaction design skills Familiarity with field and lab-based usability research methodologies Familiarity with Web technologies and strong technical leadership Ability to work independently and collaboratively Ability to communicate design rationale and build consensus Ability to prioritize and manage work to critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment Ability to develop new approaches to complex design problems Must be organized, have an eye for detail and be able to put ideas into a tangible form Willingness to do non-Flash work when necessary Candidate must be proficient in the following software: Macromedia Flash (including Action Scripting) MatrixOne PLM platform Some BA skills Experience integrating Flash video into Flash applications External Resource Integration (audio, video and other media) HTML/CSS Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Proficient with HTML/basic Web design Also a plus: Javascript and XML PHP/MYSQL DHTML To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
