Stellar opportunity for a Lawson Project Manager/Analyst with v9.0 in Dallas, TX

Put your Lawson skills on display! We currently have a 6 month contract to hire opportunity in Dallas, TX. Qualified individual will work as part of an existing Lawson Team. Responsibilities will include project management, business analysis and making recommendations regarding the best utilization of the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) and related Lawson business systems. DUTIES:1. Study system needs, investigate solutions, and present recommendations to management.2. Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, and task/workflow analysis.3. Critically evaluate information gathered, reconcile conflicts, distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs, and determine how the Lawson system can best support those needs.4. Pro-actively communicate and collaborate with external and internal customers to deliver functional requirements, business requirements documentation, and recommended Lawson solutions.5. Take a lead role in system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance activities as needed.6. Enforce project schedules, deadlines, and standards. REQUIRED:1. 5 years experience in a Project Manager and/or Business Analyst role.2. Expert knowledge of Lawson Financial (specifically GL) and Human Resource Applications.3. Experience with Lawson v9.4. Outstanding verbal and written communications skills.5. Ability to work well with a variety of personality types, both one on one and in groups.6. Individual who has an accounting background that got into the business of Business Analysis on the Lawson ERP. DESIRED:1. Lawson Payroll Module.2. Extensive accounting background and/or CPA.
