Cisco Senior Wireless Network Engineer in Dallas, TX

Our client is seeking an experienced and savvy Cisco Senior Wireless Network Engineer. This position location is open. Our client is offering full relocation. US Citizens or Green Card holders only apply. Position DetailsThis position is part of our client's Cisco Practice, a single-source provider to our clients for all things Cisco. We have more than 125 Cisco Certified Engineers on staff, including engineers for network infrastructure, unified communications, contact center, unified communications application development, security, storage and wireless. With more than seven years of Voice over IP experience, Our client has completed more than 1,300 Cisco IP Communication projects. Our client is a Cisco Gold Certified Partner and has been named IP Communications Partner of the Year for both 2004 and 2005, marking five straight years of Cisco Partner awards due to our high customer service ratings and advanced technology expertise.Responsibilities• Perform client consultation: plan and implement wireless LAN/WAN hardware and software using the latest technology, including networks, routers, servers, and systems hardware• Experience designing wireless solutions given client requirements and goals• Hands on experience configuring wireless LWAPP LAN controllers and WiSM modules• Experience installing wireless access points in different environments• Hands on experience performing wireless site surveys, location survey plus• Ability to troubleshoot sources of wireless interference• Identify and troubleshoot hardware and software technical problems related to LANs/WANs• Monitor and control infrastructure performance in the areas of response, throughput, and availability• Experience with AeroScout location appliance server and software is a plus.BEST INDUSTRY – IT ServicesBEST DEPARTMENT – Networking Experience: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related discipline is required.7 years experience in network engineering, including experience designing, planning and implementing LANs and WANs using the latest technology; experience must be post-baccalaureate and progressive in natureCCIE certification preferred Ability to work weekends and/or off hours as necessary to meet clients' needs, with occasional overnight travelAbility to effectively communicate with clientsWillingness to travel up to 75%Site Survey experience with Airmagnet Surveyor plusMilitary background plusCompensationNegotiable To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
