May perform one or more of the following:

REPRESENTATIVE PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES*

May be responsible for the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of a major ACS’ internal initiative, selecting and directing subordinate and/or dotted line personnel for this purpose.
May act as the corporate point-of-contact for ACS and client personnel on all activities related to a major Company-wide initiative, e.g., quality, software development.
Keeps apprised of developments affecting area of expertise/client base.Investigates new issues and makes recommendations to senior management.Regularly seeks opportunities to improve ACS’ capabilities in area of expertise.
Serves as a technical expert applying comprehensive technical skills and abilities to unique/important projects.
Writes and maintains the most complex business or scientific applications programs.Performs the most complex technical support functions requiring a comprehensive knowledge of a specialty area.Performs the most complex systems analysis projects.
Performs or leads the performance of the most complex definition of user functional requirements.Performs or leads the performance of the most complex feasibility studies, life cycle analysis, and/or cost/benefit studies.May perform the most complex systems design work.
May assume functional responsibility for specific tasks or projects and instruct, direct and/or check the work of others.May participate in the employee selection process and/or provide input for performance appraisals of affected personnel.
May make high-level technical presentations to management and/or customers.
May research, write, or lead technical proposals that require high level of specific technical or client expertise. In doing so, plans and establishes technical priorities and manpower utilization of affected technical component.
May market new or follow-on contracts where technical leadership or knowledge of client needs provide ACS with an opportunity to significantly grow or leverage capabilities.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED

Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent work experience.Graduate degree preferred.
Minimum of 7 years of related technical experience, reflecting state-of-the-art knowledge.
Ability to apply and use advanced knowledge and techniques (e.g. programming/analysis, engineering, technical support, and/or systems analysis) in a customer-focused, quality-oriented environment.
Proficiency using personal computer, and associated work station/computer-assisted tools, etc.
Ability to clearly and persuasively communicate complex technical issues in order to write technical reports, make oral presentations, formulate contract or task scope and objectives, and establish procedures for highly complex technical systems with management, peers and/or clients.
Flexibility/ability to adapt to change and apply knowledge to a competitive business environment.
Ability to effectively work as part of a technical, proposal, or marketing team.
Demonstrated experience with client engineering tools such as Microsoft SMS, SCCM and other related products.
A comprehensive and in-depth knowledge of advanced computing processes and technology including, various PC hardware make/model,PC software deployment technology, PC image development/management technology, PC security practices to include virus protection technology, asset management/disposal processes, Peripherals technology/support, PDA technology/support, Remote Communication Software (RAS) technology/support,andPC IMAC Support.(Specifics are defined/vary by applicable end-user area.)
