MicroStragety Developer/Analyst in Dallas, TX

MicroStrategy Developer/Analyst Responsibilities: Work with business users to determine requirements for data, reports, analysis, metadata, training, service levels, data quality, and performance Build schema and configuration objects including attributes, hierarchies, facts, metrics for the creation of reports Design logical data models from user report requirements for ETL development Work with ETL resources to translate logical data models to physical data models to ensure predictable report response time Maintain user security tables and add new users as required Facilitate user acceptance testing of newly developed reports Train new users, as required, on use of MicroStrategy Ensure MicroStrategy tool is up-to-date with respect to patches, fixes, etc. Function as key liaison to MicroStrategy technical support Required Skills: Must have at least 3-5 years experience with MicroStrategy 8.x (client is currently using version 9.0 Hotfix 1) Knowledge in MicroStrategy product architecture, deployment strategy and integration points Strong communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with business users Ability to translate business needs into data analysis and reporting solutions Expertise with the MicroStrategy Business Intelligence suite Experience with MicroStrategy Report and OLAP services including Executive Dashboard and Scorecard development Experience designing and developing intelligent cubes Knowledge of ETL design and implementation including SQL Server Expert with object promotions and development best practices Excellent presentation skills (technical and non-technical) Experienced in developing and leading user training sessions Desired Skills: Retail industry experience Web development experience using ASP.NET for customizing MicroStrategy Web is a plus Experience with MicroStrategy 9 To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
