This job requires someone that has at least 3 years of hands-on accounting experience in working with cost accounting systems. Must be willing to travel 75% of the time with most weekends off. The balance of your time will be in the corporate office working remotely with clients.
My client develops financial and cost accounting software for large commercial construction companies throughout North America, Guam, and Puerto Rico. The company is 29 years old and is privately held. We are looking for additional Implementation Consultants who have the ability work with their clients at their location to make recommendations as to the best utilization of our software and then implement our Financial Accounting and Project Management Software.
Client training will occur at both the clients location and in an in-house classroom environment.
Requirements:
1. Former experience in the commercial construction or heavy highway construction industries.
2. Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in Accounting, specifically public accounting and/or contract accounting.
3. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on accounting experience.
4. Must possess excellent communication and product presentation skills.
5. Excellent overall computer and software skills.
6. Must be a disciplined self-starter and operate without daily supervision.
7. Good organizational and planning skills.
8. Effective interpersonal skills to work as a team member and as a liaison with customers.
9. Professional and confident appearance and presentation.
10. Ability to recognize and utilize opportunities to sell services to customers.
11. Must be able to travel extensively throughout North America.
Base salary is $65,000 per year. Typical total compensation after commissions and bonuses is $102,000.
