Contract position, 6-month durationLocation: Dallas, TXRequired Skills: Active Directory JavaScript LAN. Microsoft Access Microsoft Server. Monitoring Scripting Networking principles Shell Scripting SMS 2003 SMS Administration System Administration TCP/IP Testing Methodologies Windows 2003/2008 Windows 2003/2008 Server Windows Systems Administration Job Description: Responsible for software compatibility testing with Windows 7 in a managed environment using InstallShield Admin Studio. Candidate must have good working knowledge of Admin Studio, VB scripting, Power Shell and Microsoft Windows installer technology. The candidate must be detailed oriented and willing to work as a valued member of a fast paced and highly productive packaging team. Essential Skills/Responsibilities: Perform full life cycle of software packaging including definition, requirement gathering, analysis, packaging, and customizations. Develop, package, and support applications to update systems to the latest build. Create Windows installer packages using Admin Studio. Provide packaging solutions using wise scripting, silent installs, and conflict resolution. Performs other duties as assigned. Must have working knowledge of GPOs and Active Directory. Must understand the Windows security components and permissions Qualification Requirements: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to satisfactorily perform each essential duty. 5 to 7 years of experience in the field as a Software Packaging Engineer. Specialized Skills: Knowledge of Application virtualization solutions (App-V/Med-V). Experience with automated deployment methodologies (ZTI/LTI). Proficiency with Scripting languages, packaging/deploying applications. Experience with Microsoft compatibility took kit/BDD 2007/MDT 2008-2010. Experience with MDOP. Ability to diagnose and solve problems. Effectively communicate.
