MS VISUAL STUDIO/.NET SOFTWARE TOOLS DEVELOPER
Dallas, TX - 3+ Months
Formalized Design is currently looking for a Senior Visual Studio developer for a project in Dallas, TX that will last 3+ months. Ideal candidate will have a very strong Visual Studio background, experience with graphical plotting of real-time data, experience with 8b/16b controllers and can start VERY soon.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Senior software engineer for a new family of digital power supply controllers. Position calls for design and development of software tools to enable application development and power supply design using digital controllers.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
Development of new toolset that enables system-level power supply design
* Bode plots
* Phase margin plots
* Z-domain
* S-domain design
* Graphical modeling and design
NECESSARY SKILLS:
* At least 5-10 years of experience in software development in a PC environment.
* Specific experience in Windows technologies (.NET framework, Visual Basic, Visual C++/C#, GDI+, Win32)
* Must also have exposure to 8b/16b controllers and hardware
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
* Graphical modeling and design are highly desirable
* Knowledge of mixed-signal applications in power electronics and switching power supplies are a big benefit as well.
