This position performs testing on existing and/or new software. While project code is primarily mainframe based, client server applications are often impacted. Tasks include: execute jobs which emulate production processing, back up files, modify JCL and control cards to include the code to be tested, create or modify test data, modify Comparex jobs and CA-7, CA-7 add/delete/modify the schedule; create and execute test scripts, resolve problems, work with customers and application developers. May be required to work second or third shift, depending on project schedules. Experience: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
