Field Service Engineer in Dallas, TX

The Field Service Engineer position performs onsite product installations at customer sites throughout the continental U.S. and some international assignments.

Responsibilities
Highly visible customer support through systems integration planning and the performance of on-site installation, servicing and repair of etalk software, applications, operating systems as well as some hardware.
Checks out and approves operational quality of system equipment. Instructs customers in the operation and maintenance of the system. Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects


100% U.S. travel required Periodic overseas short term assignments Experienced traveler with current passport preferred

Experience: 4+ years call center experience, Customer service, interpersonal skills required. Must be able to effectively express complex ideas and plans, both written and verbal. Must possess a broad working knowledge of: Telephony/Call Center environment MS SQL Server Windows OS systems (XP, Windows 2000 & 2003 Server, NT etc.) CTI applications Genesys TServer Dialogics Dialer Systems T1/ E1, Nortel/Meridian, Avaya, Rockwell, etc. PBX switch, VOIP and network Web Based applications Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Telecommunications, or Computer Science, MCSE a plus. 4+ years call center experience, Customer service, interpersonal skills required.
