Siebel Team Lead in Dallas, TX

Fortune 100 Financial Services Company looking for strong Siebel CRM team lead - Sales/Data Integration. This position will be responsible for acting as the formal leader of the Siebel team within the IS organization. This function will be responsible for the development, implementation and support of CRM (Sales) (Siebel-based) system. This individual provides direct leadership to a team of people. This role creates a highly motivated, customer focused, and challenging environment for team members. This resource interacts regularly with employees within IS and the customer environment up to and including the Vice Presidents. This associate maintains a strong positive relationship between the business entities and the Information Systems organization.

Required Skills:

Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or equivalent, 5-8 Years IS Related Experience, Siebel: 2-3+ years development / implementation experience, E-business experience, 3+ years in Lead/Management role, MS Project, Siebel 6 (workflows, systems development lifecycle methodology), Quality assurance processes and n-tiered system architecture. Applicants must have a BA degree or equivalent, and experience working in a global implementation of Siebel version 6 or 7. Knowledge and experience with CRM Best Practices, Siebel 7, SAP, Business data warehouse, Oracle, Java, EAI, and Object Oriented design and analysis is required.

"We are primarily in the sales CRM space
We are not doing much with analytics just yet, but we want the person we acquire to have some knowledge of a Business Intelligence analytics tool - doesn't have to be Siebel Analytics - and be familiar with how a BI tool plugs into Siebel. We are doing some things with campaigns and campaign management and tracking, but mostly we are doing basic CRM. We are importing various data inputs into the system to update customers and opportunities and contacts. We are taking a data feed from the Data Warehouse and that presents special challenges with the way Siebel wants to manage data because the business rules have already been applied to it, so someone who has dealt with that previously would be good. The person we are looking for needs to have good management skills leading an active team, the individual needs to have the personality to deal with strong willed individuals, both employees and customers. The person needs to have a minimum of 2-3 year experience in development with Siebel. We are not looking for this person to be the expert but to manage and direct the experts. This person will also be responsible to implement a program to maintain and train a team of low cost contractors - some on shore, others off shore."
