IT PROJECT MANAGER in Dallas, TX

Our client is looking for s strong Project Manager to implement project management methodology, processes, tools and best practices in accordance to the Companys Project Management Lifecycle. The purpose of this position is to manage effective delivery of technology solutions and processes to the business. This includes the development of new services and product offerings requiring coordination between the business and technology teams.

You will be responsible for:
-Developing Project Charters
-Managing project scope, time and budget
-Risk Management
-Issue management
-Change Control
-Status Reporting
-Presentations

Additional responsibilities include:
-Ensure quality is achieved as planned
-Escalate decisions and unresolved issues
-Establish appropriate key success indicators
-Conduct Project Learning reviews (i.e. lessons learned)
-Close all project documentation and archive appropriate records and materials

Required Skills:
-5+ years of technical project management experience within a software development team practicing common project management methodologies.
-Excellent end-user interface and interpersonal skills
-Strong, up-to-date, technology skills in a variety of technologies
-Excellent people management skills
- B.S. in Computer Science/Business/MIS
-Solid IT implementation experience
-MS Project is a must
-PMI Certification is a plus, but not a must
-Telecom experience is a plus
-Very good organization skills
-Excellent written communication
-Goal orientation and action-focused; pragmatic and self-disciplined
-Good team motivation and delegation skills
-Ability to work well in a somewhat unstructured/demand driven environment
-Excellent problem-solving/analytical skills
-Proven ability to effectively communicate to technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels.
-Proven ability to direct multiple projects.
- Experience in establishing/setting/enforcing strong standards/procedures/processes
