DFW based organization has an immediate opening for a full-time Oracle 11.x Applications DBA.
Oracle Applications DBA will be responsible for maintenance and support of more than 20 production Oracle E-Business Suite application modules, including Fixed Assets, General Ledger, Human Resources, HR Self Service, iRecruitment, iProcurement, and Projects. In addition to providing baseline production support, this position will also participate in the implementation projects for additional modules.
Responsibilities
* Maintain existing Patch, Development, Test and Production instances.
* Manage changes and enhancements to the Test and Production instances.
* Participate in the planning, designing and developing of customizations to the existing E-Business Suite.
* Monitor and apply patches to the Oracle E-Business Suite.
* Assist in problem determination and resolution for both technical as well as end-user staff. Coordinate TARs with Oracle Support.
Qualifications
* Five years experience working with Oracle E-Business Applications, either as a developer, systems database administrator, or applications database administrator. Ideally, candidates will possess a balance of production support and systems implementation experience.
* Two years experience managing Oracle E-Business Applications that are subject to Sarbanes-Oxley compliance. Comfort with maintaining compliance to Fortune 1000 audit and security standards/procedures.
* Three years experience supporting Oracle E-Business Applications as an Applications DBA. This experience will include the planning and execution of major patches, working with Unix administrators to perform system upgrades, backup and recovery.
