SQL Server Database Administrator (DBA) in Dallas, TX

We are actively interviewing for a SQL Database Administrator for our client's Dallas-based office. Preferably the SQL Database Administrator will have experience in both MS SQL Server 2000 and 2005. The MS SQL Server DBA will be involved in database design, performance tuning, database normalization, creation and populations. In addition, the MS SQL Server Database Administrator will monitor and correct database issues. <br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: MS SQL Server Database Administrator will have 5+ years of Administration and Maintenance experience with SQL Server 2000/2005 databases. The SQL Server Database Administrator will also have 2+ years experience with Windows 2000 Server OS, Data Transformation Services (DTS), T-SQL programming, and Application and End User support in a LAN/WAN environment. SQL Server Database Administrator will also display good written and verbal communications skills. Excellent documentation skills and the ability to communicate and work with an Infrastructure team is essential for the SQL Server Database Administrator. The ability to be a self starter, while also being a team player is required. ETL experience is a plus for the SQL Server Database Administrator position.
