Job Decription:
- Must have a minimum of 5 years total, in roles dedicated entirely to SQL Server database administration related work,
for at least 2 different employers
- Providing technical mentoring and guidance on SQL Server related topics
- Installing, configuring and supporting SQL Server 2000 or 2005 on a Microsoft Cluster Server
- Analyzing, designing and creating databases according to specification
- Developing and implementing system recovery plans and procedures
- Developing and implementing system security plans and procedures
- Developing and implementing system monitoring and alerting
- Writing and tuning of database resident code such as: procedures, functions, triggers and views
- Performance analysis of SQL Server and its dependent and related resources
- installing, configuring and supporting SQL Server on SAN Storage
- Familiar with basic scripting languages such as VBScript and shell scripting
- Familiar with using a source code control tool such as Microsoft Visual Source Safe
Experience: Skill Required: - Packages, Stored Procedures and functions (PL/SQL) development experience, MS SQL, SAN Storage,
