A large, dynamic IT department needs a systems security analyst to build and operate solutions for a large hospital with multiple locations -- immediate opening for thisnew position, full-time with benefits in Dallas, Texas.
The selected candidate will perform technical lead functions for security projects, including continual development of security service offerings, audit preparation and response, security awareness and education, and regulatory responsibilities.
In addition, this individual will provide security operations support, including Internet access, firewall, DNS, web proxy, email, authentication, intrusion detection/prevention, vulnerability and patch management, and security reporting. There is no regular travel in this position.
Experience: *A bachelor's degree or equivalent experiece is preferred *CISSP certification is preferred *5 years of IT security industry expertise in risk management, security technologies and computer networking Incident handling and response, vulnerability management, and patch *Good team skills, interpersonal and communication
