Our Dallas Fort Worth based client wants to hire an Information Technology professional with industry trending analysis experience. The candidate will analyze client date, looking for trends, research public industry data, and information that may impact their Fortune 100 clients. This analyst will interpret external market data that may influence client behavior, enabling a proactive relationship with our clients.
In this role, candidate will be researching market trends for retail, manufacturers, and service providers to share insight into proactive management of clients. You will interact with various development teams, project manager, senior management, and external vendors.
Objectives:
-- Perform day-to-day Market analysis and interpretations for external clients.
-- Support effective and efficient business processes in partnership with other software and reporting development teams.
-- Writing in Oracle SQL to perform the data query functions.
-- Ensure that information needs and business rules are in compliance with enterprise policies and standards.
-- Build a framework for accurately capturing, sharing, distributing, securing, and leveraging company data resources.
Technical Requirements:
-- 1+ years Information Technology experience.
-- Experience writing SQL for databases.
-- Must possess a positive can-do attitude
-- Knowledge in relational database design (normalized and dimensional).
Required:
-- Strong ability to work with business units to formulate strategies and requirements.
-- Highly motivated individual with very good analytical skills dedicated to completing tasks on schedule.
Desired:
-- knowledgeable of reporting tools such as: Cognos, Crystal Reports, Business Objects, MSAS.
Education:
-- BS or BA, desirable.
