Job Description: This position has overall technical design and implementation responsibility for systems which support the hardware infrastructure for a large international company. A technically adept and experienced individual who can interface with customers as well as lead technical teams is required. Experience in designing, developing, and integrating technologies used in delivering infrastructure service is essential. Those systems include but are not limited to monitoring systems, server/storage/network management systems, and configuration management systems. Experience working with technical SMEs to implement and integrate solutions. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years’ infrastructure experience with 4+ years leading teams. Position level is dependent on candidate’s level of experience.
Primary Experience:
4+ years leadership experience
2+ years customer interface experience
7+ years infrastructure experience
2+ years Server administration
2+ years Storage experience
2+ years Network experience
Knowledge of a variety of infrastructure management systems.Indicative, Netcool, NetIQ, Bladlogic, Voyence, etc.
Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management processes
Demonstrated analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation.
Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
Secondary Experience:
Experience in Security, or other technical areas.
Change Control, version control, build, and configuration management
ITIL certifications seen as a plus
Education:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or related discipline
