Job Description
This Telecom Technician position will report to the Manager of Voice Network Engineering. The primary role of this position will be to provide voice telecom support for ACS internal projects and assist with ACS customers as needed. This position will provide support for local moves, adds and changes, as well as, PBX/ACD and telephony maintenance and other various campus telephony requirements. The job will also entail ensuring voice systems and processes are properly documented and executed. The candidate will be responsible for break/fix of all customer voice systems and for providing maximum availability of those systems.

Other functions include:

· Complete IMAC/tickets to stay with in SLA requirements.
· Assistance in integration projects including equipment ordering, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of upgrades or new installations.
· Reporting on project status, as well as generating any other reports requested by the client and management.
· Attend daily/weekly/Monthly meetings as required and interact regularly with management and clients to constantly improve services.
· Provide after-hours, on-call support as needed.

* Experience with Avaya Communications Systems would be beneficial.
