Genesis10 has several opportunities for a Business Continuity Analyst to join one of the largest financial organizations in the world on a 6 month contract basis in Dallas, TX. Our client is looking for intermediate level Business Continuity Analysts with a minimum of 2 - 3 years experience in either a Business Operations or Information Technology role as well as a minimum of 1 - 2 years in Business Continuity Management.
This position will be responsible for reviewing recovery strategies, identifying inherent risks and documenting. Also responsible for working with internal Business Continuity Consultants to develop remediation plans while transitioning and integrating BC and Technology plans for newly mapped Lines of Business.
Experience: Required Experience/Skills:
- 2 to 3 years experience in either a Business Operations or Information Technology role
- 1 to 2 years in Business Continuity Management.
- Must be able to effectively facilitate meetings as well as document and track tasks and issues to completion.
- Must be familiar with Recovery Strategies / Solutions, Event Management, Crisis Response and automated Business Planning tools.
- Ability to interact with all levels of management and staff to gather and translate continuity requirements in order to formulate recovery solutions.
- Must be highly organized and possess excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with varying organizational levels.
Preferred Experience/Skills:
- Proficiency with LDRP.
- Professional certifications including CBCP or similar designations.
- Project Management experience is considered a plus.
