Our client is currently interviewing JD Edwards Enterprise One version 8.11 Functional Consultants for a contract position in North Dallas. The ideal candidate will be able to identify new business objectives and system requirements. This motivated self starter will work with Process Owners and end users to obtain business requirements based on current and future system needs. The JD Edwards Enterprise One consultant will maintain an awareness of all business operations. The ideal candidate will also help promote cross-functional coordination through project planning, management and the building of relationships domestically and internationally. Provide updates for business processes, business flows and polices and procedures. This person will also have to work closely with Information Technology teams and Training teams to accomplish company objectives.<br/><br/>All applicants applying for U.S. job openings must be authorized to work in the United States. Experience: Job Requirements:
Create business requirements documents based on business needs
Create functional specifications based upon the business requirements
Work with the Change Control Board to approve or deny departmental Change Requests (CR’s)
Collaboratively work with other IT members to find the appropriate technical approach for achieving accurate systems business solutions
Perform project planning functions and management for system enhancements and upgrades
Act as lead on projects assigned
Work with Project Mgmt to keep project plan updated and current
Coordinate user acceptance testing, including development of test scripts
Involved with training as necessary
Support new country openings by working with the International Department and IT to ensure that requirements are provided, configuration changes are made, testing is performed and documentation is updated
Provide communication about projects and systems
Help develop implementation plans
Assist with developing and enforcing standards for the integrated system
Maintain process documentation, including key controls and complementary controls
Address and help resolve system issues and business impacts through temporary production support assistance in post-implementation phase
Responsible for getting Process Owner Sign Off’s
Perform other duties as assigned and requested
Required Experience:
8 – 10 Years of JD Edwards World A7.3 cume 10 or Enterprise One 8.9 or higher experience
In-depth knowledge in one or more of the following areas:
Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger.
Purchasing and Sales Order Management a plus.
Must have performed multiple JDE financial modules implementations; extensive knowledge in integrity reports, AAI’s, DMAAI, reconciliation process, Standard JDE configuration and setup.
Ability to SQL database for analysis and design functional specifications of applications
Required Skills:
