Operations Analyst
Location: Greater Dallas Area, Texas
Group: Manufacturing / consumer products
Degree Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance/Accounting
You’ll have opportunities to work with all of the executive management team in a variety of functional areas outside of finance, in this dynamic job.
As a Financial Planning Analyst for our manufacturing organization, your specific responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate the standard setting process for manufactured material
• Proactively identifying opportunities to improve tools and processes
• Drive improvements/enhancements to the tools and processes used with standard setting and related forecasting
• Inventory demand planning
• Conducting periodic related training with factory and business personnel
• Providing management reporting and analysis related to the standard setting process
• Supporting the close and estimate/forecast process for our worldwide support organizations
• Providing financial expertise to support decision-making within some of our worldwide manufacturing support organizations
• Supporting various managers with proactive review of spending, budgeting, and forecasting needs
• Involvement in formal cross-organizational team projects
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 0-2+ years finance experience. Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment. Strong analytical skills, and a good understanding of fundamental finance, accounting, and general business concepts, are a must. Solid PC skills, including proficiency in all MS Office software, are needed. This position requires strong organizational and time management skills. This analyst will frequently work on multiple projects or tasks with firm deadlines. Prioritization of work to support the standard setting process for the individual, as well as the worldwide supporting organizations, is required. Clear and effective communication and presentation skills are a must. The ability to successfully interface with various levels of management across a broad range of functional disciplines around the world is essential.
