JD Edwards BA in Dallas, TX

The candidate will be involved with supporting and enhancing existing systems. Key activities will be designing and testing changes to existing processes, interfaces, reports, and application functionality. Attention to detail and good documentation skills are critical to this effort. Work as liasison between the users and the technical team performing functional support in a supply chain environment. The candidate will need to understand business requirements and how they relate to functionality in the JDE ERP application as well as interoperability between JDE and other applications. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Strong business knowledge of the J.D. Edwards One World XE ("JDE ERP") package with specific focus on the product data management functionality (Items, Bills of Material, Routings, etc.) At least 3 years experience implementing enterprist IT applications, defining and mapping business processes, process flows, and understanding integration between various applications. Knowledge of supply chain business processes and experience with manufacturing systems. Good communication and documentation skills. Experience working with all levels of staff to define business and technical requirements as well as to perform application support. Proficiency in Access and SQL to a level that will allow the candidate to research issues. At least 1 year experience designing and testing interfaces or data conversions. Experience designing and testing reports. EDUCATION REQUIRED OR DESIRED: BA or higher CERTIFICATION(S) REQUIRED OR DESIRED: JDE ERP-related training or certification FOREIGN LANGUAGE(S) REQUIRED OR DESIRED: None TRAVEL: MK Subsidiaries where JDE ERP is being implemented Travel encompasses approximately 10 to 15% of this position Length of each trip will be approximately 1 week
