Network Documentation Analyst in Dallas, TX

This mid-level professional is a seasoned individual producer who possesses advanced and in-depth knowledge of technical networking concepts, practices and procedures. This professional is fully competent to work on complex networking assignments and perform a full range of network support activities.
This professional will serve as a member of a quick-response user-support team and will often work independently, under demanding deadlines, to resolve complex end-user problems. Acting as a functional/team leader, this professional has the ability to use mature judgment when assigning personnel and with doing so avoids unnecessary delays to client. Errors caused by this mid-level professional will likely cause visible delay, expense and/or disruption to the end-user.

Education and typical years of experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Information Systems, a related field, or equivalent work experience. Minimum of 3-5 years of related networking support experience. 1-3 years of project management experience.Requires advanced knowledge and experience in a range of network technology platforms and systems. ISO20000 or ITIL knowledge preferred.

Special Requirements:

Nodal management - Systems level knowledge of Netcool, HP OpenView, or other monitoring tool

Basic knowledge of network communications hardware, software, and protocols

Hard skills - MS Visio (Strong); MS Outlook (Moderate); MS Project (Moderate)

Soft skills - Verbal communication (Strong); Written communication (Strong); Problem analysis (Strong); Project management (Moderate);
