Business Systems Analyst Job Description: This position is responsible for gathering and defining requirements for the implementation of ITIL service management applications. This includes working with clients, process owners, and developers to deliver a solution which meets the business needs. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years overall IT experience with at least 1 year of hands on development experience on an application development team. Position level is dependent on candidate’s level of experience. Primary Experience: · 5+ years experience as a business/systems analyst required (gap analysis, lead scope sessions, requirements documentation, UAT/Test Case documentation, providing tool demonstrations, leading presentations, etc.) · 1+ years programming experience required · 1+ year experience working on a 508 compliant web application preferred · Demonstrated analytical thinking, adaptability, enthusiasm and motivation · Strong understanding of ITIL Service Management processes preferred · Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills · Ability to work independently as well as in a team setting · UAT/Test plan development · End User Training · TQM, Six Sigma · 1+ years Remedy ITSM 6.0+ experience preferred · 1+ years Business Objects reporting experience preferred Secondary Experience: · Business Objects experience preferred · Flex/Java/WebLogic experience preferred · Oracle, SQL Server preferred Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Information Systems or related discipline.
